Back in 1992 – 1993 I looked through The Swedish Kennel Clubs magasines and registers between 1892 – 1937. I also spent some exciting time among files and microfilms at The Swedish Kennel Club's office in Stockholm. I was of course looking for bloodhounds - and I did found a few.

This research ended up in some articles I wrote for The Swedish Bloodhound Club magasine "Blodhundskamraten", and now I publish them here for you to read. Well, they are in Swedish, sorry, but you can look a the pictures and maybe have a look at the "stambok" to see the breeding? :-)
